The Nationwide Recycling Day is an important platform in strengthening public awareness of the shared responsibility in preserving the environment through continuous recycling practices. With various efforts and increasing awareness, Nationwide Recycling Day is hoped to have a major positive impact for a greener and more sustainable future. The Nationwide Recycling Day, which was held simultaneously in all four districts, collected over 2,000 kilogrammes of paper waste, over 200 kilogrammes of cardboard, plastic bottles, as well as over 300 litres of used cooking oil, 80 lithium batteries, 703 units of electronic waste and 1,242 used items for recycling.

 

In Brunei Muara District, one of the Nationwide Recycling Day initiative was held at the Jastre Office, Kampung Anggerek Desa. With various efforts and increasing awareness, Nationwide Recycling Day can have a huge positive impact for a greener and more sustainable future.

 

For residents in the Belait District, recyclable waste can be sent to the Belait District Branch JASTRe Office. Efforts like this encourage people to practice recycling while also introducing recycling services in the country.

 

The Nationwide Recycling Day initiative was also held at the JASTRe Office, Tutong Branch. Waste paper, plastic bottles, electrical waste units and used goods were among those collected during the event.

 

And in Temburong District, the activity was held at the Muhibah Recreation Park Car Park, Bangar Town. Such initiatives aim to increase public awareness of recycling practices, as well as introduce recycling services available in the country.
